Accessibility

VENUE ACCESS
We regret that the venue in which Giant Dwarf Theatre operates does present some challenges to people with limited mobility, and is not wheelchair accessible (for now). We can reserve seating to cater for those with limited mobility and vision impairment. Wheelchair users have often still attended performances, but please note; there is a small step up into the entrance of the venue, and no wheelchair accessible bathrooms. This will change soon, however, as we are in the midst of planning renovation works. We are also working to make our website more accessible, we appreciate your patience and perseverance.

DEAF AND HARD OF HEARING ATTENDEES

Some of our events are able to offer Auslan Interpretation. The events that offer this service clearly indicate this in their event description. The venue does not offer an induction loop at this time.

COMPANIONS

Giant Dwarf Theatre is a member of the Companion Card program. To find out more, or apply for an additional ticket for your companion, please contact us at tickets@giantdwarf.com.au.

Companion animals are welcome in all areas of GD except food preparation areas, and the bar area. We do also kindly request that you provide notice to us if you intend to bring your companion animal with details of your requirements, so we are able to properly prepare.

LOW INCOME AND AFFORDABILITY

Giant Dwarf reserves x5 tickets to each show where possible for those who cannot afford to attend, or face other social barriers that would inhibit them from attending. If this applies to you and you would like to attend a performance, please email tickets@giantdwarf.com.au at least 3 days before the show to book yourself in. Tickets will be given on a first come, first served basis.
