BIG BREKKY is a new monthly comedy show featuring performances from your favourite Sydney bands.
After a sell out run in 2020 Big Brekky is back bringing you the hottest comedy show inspired by Australian breakfast TV. This month catch an interview and live performance from local favourite Flowertruck.
Hosted by Issy Phillips and Juliet Timmerman, on the last Friday of each month expect to be treated to special guests from the Sydney comedy scene while getting your live music fix.
Issy Phillips is a comedian, writer and climate communicator. She was named one of GQ’s three brightest millennial comics and was featured in Harper’s Bazaar as an artist capturing the zeitgeist. Her TEDx Talk, ‘Could ASMR be the Answer to Climate Change?’ advocates for using the arts as a medium to inspire action on climate. Her acclaimed debut show ASMR Live has been performed to sell out audiences across Australia and you can catch her on your radio every Saturday morning on FBi 94.5 FM.
Juliet Timmerman is a stand up comic, writer and improviser based in Sydney. She is the sweetie pie of improv troupe Confetti Gun, has written for The Derryn Hinch Justice League and was a Grand Finalist in the 2018 Cranston Cup. She has performed at Sydney Comedy Festival, Sydney Fringe Festival, Adelaide Fringe Festival, Perth Fringeworld and The Del Close Marathon (NYC). Juliet has trained at Improv Theatre Sydney and New York’s Upright Citizens Brigade Theatre.
