A slide night for politics junkies, hosted by Julian Morrow.

Photo Opp is an interview show which explores life in the public eye, revealing what was really going on behind the scenes in famous moments captured on camera. Join us for the show on Monday 12th August featuring independent member for the Australian federal seat of Warringah, Zali Steggall.

Steggall announced her candidacy as an independent in the Division of Warringah on 27 January 2019. Running against, and defeating former Australian Prime Minister and incumbent Liberal MP Tony Abbott in the 2019 Australian federal election, on a platform “particularly” advocating action on climate change.

In 2007 Steggall was recognised for an Order of Australia Medal for contributions to sport and charity and was inducted into the Sport Australia Hall of Fame in 2004. She is Australia’s most internationally successful alpine skier, winning a bronze medal in slalom at the 1998 Winter Olympics in Nagano, and a World Championship gold medal in 1999. Retiring from her athletic career in 2002, Steggall was admitted to the NSW Bar as a barrister in 2008, after completing degrees in both communications and media studies and law.

Courtyard bar opens at 6:30pm for a 7:30pm start. Pop in before the show for a drink and a mingle!
