Maeve Marsden presents:
Fast becoming an institution around the country, join some of Australia’s finest storytellers for an evening of unexpected tales: reflections on lives well lived and battles fought, pride, prejudice, love and humour. The LGBTQI+ community has been sharing stories for centuries, creating our own histories, disrupting and reinventing conventional ideas about narrative, family, love and community. There’s more to being queer than coming out and getting married.
Listen to a tale or two from an incredible line up of stars and strangers, curated by Maeve Marsden. More than 200 people have shared their stories at Queerstories, some of these available on the award-winning podcast and as a collection of stories published by Hachette in 2018.
