Giant Dwarf Theatre presents: Tiny Tunes
Tiny Tunes is the new music event series for GD at their brand new home in Surry Hills. In the same way that we’ve been supporting emerging comics over the years, we want to celebrate the history of our new home and give some love to the amazing artists who bring us music.

Loren Ryan is a First Nations Australian and comes from the Gamilaraay people native to North West, New South Wales. She is renowned for combining her love of music and language, showcasing both in a creatively captivating splendor. Writing original songs and translating well known Australian songs into her “Ngamba Dhalaay” mother’s tongue. During 2020 a rendition of Cold Chisel’s ‘Flame Trees’ Loren had translated into Gamilaraay language and covered reach 50k views on Facebook. Check it out here: ‘Flame Trees’ cover.
With a voice that drizzles emotion every performance, best described as a mixture of soul and RnB, resonating over a modern acoustic grass roots sound.
Little Darlin’ is the second EP (available now) to come from this First Nations, country/roots gem of a singer-songwriter. Little Darlin’ EP ruminates on a young woman’s vulnerability in love. These lyrical thoughts are carried over a pain-staking, emotive vocal, laid on a bed of country/roots goodness and features an electrifying slide guitar.
